Running To Win: A Workshop for Female Candidates
Cost is $75/person and includes a CD of the Women’s Political Caucus “Running to Win” manual. Individual and Corporate Sponsorships are also available. Sponsored by the LWV, NOW, and National Women's Political Caucus of Virginia. The workshop will kick off Friday night with a reception with elected officials, followed by a series of breakout groups on Saturday and Sunday. Scheduled topics include: - Deciding to Run - What is My Area and How Will I Win - Budgeting - Media Relations (including an opportunity to do a practice taping) - Grassroots Organization - Fundraising - Finding a Political Mentor
