  Dan Smolen, the new chair of the Stafford Democratic Committee, told attendees at yesterday's regional breakfast of plans to have the three announced candidates for the Democratic nomination in the First Congressional race this year.

  <p>Has the GOP spin cycle got you seeing Red?</p> <p>Come to Blue Monday and meet up with other progressives and Democratic friends to vent, kvetch and take action to turn Virginia Blue!</p> <p>We'll be in the back room which is great for meet-ups! The acoustics allow for conversation and we can close the doors on the restaurant noise if need be. </p> <p>Monday night is $5 Burger Night!
