State of the Union Watch Parties

Join Democrats to watch the president's State of the Union, followed by the Democratic response by our own Tim Kaine, Tuesday night, January 31st.

Join area Democrats and Congressional candidate Shawn O'Donnell to watch the State of the Union address.

The President's State of the Union Speech begins at 9PM, followed by the REAL State of the Union Speech to be given by our own Gov. Tim Kaine.

DIRECTIONS TO THE JOSHI RESIDENCE

From I-95 Exit 140 Courthouse Road:

  • Take Courthouse Road WEST approximately 3.5 miles past Colonial Forge High School on the left.
  • TURN LEFT into AUGUSTINE (Monument Drive). Follow Monument Drive approximately 8/10ths of one mile.
  • TURN RIGHT onto Ludwell Lane. #17 is about the sixth house down on the left.

Watch Bush?s State of the Union address (Speech is scheduled for 9-10pm) with Virginia Grassroots Coalition at Capitol City Brewing, 2700 S. Quincy St, in Shirlington. Join us in watching Bush tiptoe around the truth AGAIN. Virginia?s newly-minted Governor Tim Kaine has been selected to deliver the Democratic Party response to the speech so it makes the evening doubly interesting for Virginians. Various national groups have published ?toolkits? for watching the speech and getting active. Come on out, put the kids in the footie pajamas, and be part of your community.
