- Our own Shawn O'Donnell elected overwhelmingly on first ballog.

- PREVAIL access:
- SPVA has waved $200 fee because we added new Dem voter IDs last year.
- Submitted contract, order form and now have an updated account ID / password.
- By-laws:
- Faxed existing hard-copy to SPVA.

Review of by-laws
Parliamentarian, 5 minutes
- Proposed motion: "Resolved that the Fredericksburg Democratic Committee adds the adoption of the bylaws (or as amended) to the agenda for its July meeting, and directs the Secretary to notify all committee members of that vote before 20 June."
Spring fundraising effort
Secretary, 5 minutes
- T-shirts / golf shirts as promos.
- One early contributor already.
- James' material, updated for current status.
- PREVAIL for targeted mailing
- Prevail lists ~300 "strong Democrats" in the city; we will target them for the first mailing.
Voter File / Prevail Access Policy

- Proposed motion: "Resolved that the Fredericksburg Democratic Committee
adopts the draft policy[1] for allowing access to the
SPVA's voter file for candidates seeking election to
local offices in the City of Fredericksburg, and directs
the Chair to forward the adopted policy to the State
Party."

New Business
Primary Election Volunteers
Chair, 5 minutes
- Voters who come out for this primary are most likely "strong* Democrats.
We would do well to have information tables at each precinct, staffed
if possible with folks who can distribute flyers, answer questions, and
collect contact information.
- Can we coordinate with the Equality Virginia folks?
Voter ID Project
Chair, 10 minutes
- Neighborhood recruitment: we need committee folks to help identify
and recruit people in each neighborhood who can function as a
point of contact and information for us. For a list of the

- I would like for the bulk of our July meeting to be a working session for this project (or we could hold a separate working session before then).
Summer Events

Possible events include:
- Clean Money Day, Tuesday, 27 June: Public Campaign Fund is organizing hosue parties in honor of Tom DeLay's exit from Congress, to raise awareness of the need for public campaign finance.
